L’Imperia vintage

Da piccola avevo il sonno leggero e quand’era festa mi svegliavo sempre piuttosto presto, dal lettino sentivo la mamma già operosa in cucina, e mi veniva voglia di alzarmi per andare a curiosare. Così sbucavo in cucina col mio pigiama e le pantofoline, e non di rado trovavo il tavolo già interamente ricoperto di gnocchi appena fatti ad esempio, o di tagliatelle o di agnolotti. Mia mamma allora faceva un po’ di posto su quello stesso tavolo e mi dava la colazione, la scodella di latte coi biscotti, e mentre io mangiavo lei riprendeva il lavoro e io con piacere la osservavo. Magari gli gnocchi erano fatti ma ancora da passare nella forchetta, in quel caso potevo anche io partecipare al gioco, dosando la giusta leggerezza del pollice sui rebbi. Magari invece c’era da tirare e ritirare la pasta all’uovo con l’Imperia, ripiegandola tante volte su sè stessa e infarinando un po’ qua e un po’ là, e poi c’era da posizionare le pallottoline di ripieno, richiudere la pasta e tagliare gli agnolotti col tagliapasta dentellato, che per me era la più bella magia al mondo. Ripensandoci mi vengono in mente il profumo preciso della pasta fresca, le mani di mia mamma con le unghie infarinate, i gesti ripetuti quasi rituali, il puf puf del sugo sul fuoco più basso, l’ultimo passaggio della striscia di pasta nella macchina che ne faceva morbide tagliatelle, la mia tazza di latte che finiva e il fondo di briciole dolci raccolto col cucchiaino.

che ballo…anche io ho sempre fatto colazione sul bordo del tavolo, sull’unico angolino della spianatoia rimasto libero. non ho mai “partecipato” prima di quest’anno ed è stato bellissimo, come creare un nuovo legame con la mia mamma, nonostante non ce ne sia bisogno..che bello!
