L’influenza della zucca

Mi sono beccata l’influenza. Capita così, che tu per anni ed anni non la prendi, passi tutti gli inverni a vedere al tg che mezza Italia si è già messa a letto, a sentire i racconti dei sopravvissuti, e tu a dire cose tipo ‘io non sono molto soggetta….’ , oppure ‘e dire che di freddo ne prendo tutti i giorni’. E poi arriva il giorno in cui non speri altro che ti passi il prima possibile, perchè si sta troppo male.
Fortuna che avevo con me il recentissimo ricordo del Combal, per il resto della mia ultima settimana eno-gastronomica c’è proprio poco da dire, a parte rimettere in agenda una ormai notoria degustazione di vini dolci che di volta in volta si rimanda per un motivo o per un altro (certe cose proprio nascono male e riescono peggio), rimandata appunto per l’ennesima volta, e a parte questa crema/minestra/zuppa, che guarda caso avevo preparato in extremis prima che mi salisse la febbre, e che mi ha tenuto buona compagnia per un po’ di giorni.
Durante la scorsa estate mi sono accorta che anche se il sedano non è mai stato il mio ortaggio preferito, nei passati di verdura una sua certa prevalenza mi piace proprio, specie da abbinare a certi Sauvignon friulani. Poi in autunno, anche spinta da una certa sovra produzione di zucche nell’orto di papy, mi sono appassionata alle più varie creme di zucca, tipo questa qui e questa qui, e l’altra sera mi è balenato per la testa di provare a mischiare un po’ le due cose. Ecco, devo dire che il risultato sarebbe stato proprio divino, se ad un certo punto non avessi temuto di esagerare col sedano e non mi fossi trattenuta dal mettere in pentola tutto quello che avevo pulito e preparato. Così in definitiva nel gusto e nel colore la zucca ha avuto un po’ troppa influenza… :-) Questa è la ricetta come avrebbe dovuto essere.
Crema di sedano e zucca
Ingredienti:
550 gr di zucca
470 gr di sedano (coste e foglie)
1 patata
1 scalogno
2 cucchiai di Extra Vergine
1200 ml di acqua
sale q.b.
Sbucciare e pulire la zucca, il sedano e la patata, far soffriggere leggermente lo scalogno tritato nell’olio e aggiungere le verdure tagliate a pezzetti. Coprire con l’acqua, salare e portare ad ebollizione, far cuocere per circa un’ora e mezza. Frullare col mixer ad immersione e servire con crostini di pane nero tostati in padella con sale e olio.
Adesso stai meglio? a sto punto ti ci vorrebbe un menù iper agromatico all’arancia per qualche giorno, così tornerai nuova e pimpante.
dai tirati su e pensa a quanto t’invidio, che a me non viene mai un accidenti, porcaloca. Non vedrei l’ora di starmene a letto per una settimana di seguito.
